Author Bio

Jeff just completed his first novel, The Ghosts of Conquest, an upmarket thriller inspired by true events. Set amid remote ranchlands on the Rockies' southern slope akin to C.J. Box's Twelve Sleep County, it delivers place-infused suspense in the vein of Samantha Jayne Allen's Pay Dirt Road and Iris Yamashita's City Under One Roof.

As a screenwriter, Jeff sold The Bureau, a thriller based on actual events, to Castle Rock and optioned Enemy Of My Enemy, an action/adventure like Extraction. He taught screenwriting at Vassar and has an MFA from Columbia, where his thesis explored New Mexico’s untold history. He’s based just outside of New York City and is co-founder and co-owner of Gotham Writers’ Workshop, the largest writing school in the United States.
